Chloé Taylor Brown, a former international model now turned motivational speaker, was the guest presenter at the recent Lyceum Series program on Rust campus.

A native of Marshall County, Miss., Brown beat the odds and pursued her dream of becoming a high fashion model. She had a very successful career for twenty years.

According to her website, "As an image enhancement specialist, coach and speaker...Chloé Taylor Brown has empowered professionals by helping them to understand that being poised, polished and perfectfully put together at all times gives them more confidence, which sets them apart and creates power and credibility."

Though the evening was primarily for women, she also addressed young men's attitudes about how to deal with life's challenges. Brown spoke of how she toiled with the growing pains of being a female adolescent, and how that was changed by her aunt, Anita Moore, the head librarian at Rust.

Brown launched her National Girls Initiative on Body Image and Self-Esteem during her visit to Rust College, and Rust was the first to host the project. She is due back to visit the campus for a body image and self-esteem power workshop.

Now a Life By Design power coach and CEO of Total Image Enhancement, she has dedicated herself to helping others love who they are and live up to their fullest potential.

Brown is  the author of "Getting Ready Chloe Style", which she said can be purchased at Barnes and Noble bookstore, online amazon.com, or her website, chloetaylorbrown.com.
