Rodgers-Cromartie becomes the Tigers' first first-round pick since 1974 when the Tigers had two of the first four selections in that year's draft.

Ed Too Tall Jones was the 1974 number one pick to Dallas and Waymond Bryant was the number four pick to the Chicago Bears.

Rodgers-Cromartie was the second corner back to come off the board.

Rodgers-Cromartie was a standout competitor at the NFL combine in February, showcasing the speed and agility that helped him become one of the top defensive backs in the draft.

A crowd of more than 200 spectators, including about 20 scouts came to watch former TSU standout defensive back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's Pro Day workout on March 21.

Rodgers-Cromartie continued to impress the scouts present at Pro Day. He did not participate in every event, but he did get a chance to wow the scouts with his agility in the cone drill.

Rodgers-Cromartie will improve Arizona's defense which was 28th in pass yards, giving up 232 yards per game.
